Mahoney Park “Place of Peace”
This “Place of Peace”, a tranquil park on Long Pond, was formed through a community effort to honor the legacy of Hugh, Ruth and John Mahoney. Once a favorite fishing spot for Dr. Mahoney and his son John, today this memorial park is frequented by many local residents for recreational activities and to enjoy quiet moments sitting on a park bench crafted by a dear friend of the Mahoney family.
